Since its inception in 1979, Dominion Associates, Inc. and its founder, Stewart Porter, have been responsible for creating some of Northern Virginia’s finest communities and timelessly crafted homes. These projects have ranged from multiple lot subdivisions and multi-million dollar custom homes, to small renovations and room additions. They all, however, have been treated with equal diligence and quality control, earning DAI a stalwart reputation by the public in an industry that is otherwise fraught with low confidence.
Throughout these last 35 plus years, Dominion Associates has maintained a core philosophy on building and renovation to keep itself among a short list of quality and price conscious building contractors that continue to thrive in our ever changing region and economic climates.
Our principles are simple — maintain a high standard on all materials and manpower involved in our projects, keep a strong attention to details, and never compromise our proven record for ethics and dependability with our clients. The fruit from these principles is found in the pride that we share equally with our clients that comes from a job well done.
With over 35 plus years in the business, our experience and expertise in all types of Residential Construction allows us to identify, assemble and manage all the necessary “parts and players” involved in both the largest and smallest of projects to see them completed on time and on budget.
One of our greatest assets is in our core group of Subcontractors and Suppliers that participate on each and every project we undertake; many of whom have been on our team for almost 20 years, and all share in our core principles and attention to details. These men and women are among their own “Who’s Who” lists in their respective Trades, and it shows brightly in our final products. The continuity that comes from these time tested relationships and shared successes is what allows us to execute what our client’s desire, and what we promise to produce.
